The ship does not return to the UK until next spring so would not be possible unless you want to wait a long time .

You'll have to do what I do and restrict the amount your husband takes. Seriously though... You will be allowed a little over 25kg without cost but check with P&O or your airline to find out if you can pay for extra baggage (normally about £5 per Kilo) and how much you can take in your cabin bags, trying to send it back really is a no no in my experience.
