My wife had a stroke a few years ago and a cruise is ideal every facility within easy reach. If wheelchair access is needed make sure this is dealt with at the time of booking.

If that is his only difficulty I can see no reason why it shouldn't be anything other than good for him. If it helps wheelchairs are available on many ships to help with mobility although I would check with the agent or cruise line if that would be something that you would definitely want and the crew are always very helpful. ...
