You dont need to take towels for swimming as there are towels for this in your cabin,blue and white.no coffee making facilities in cabin. you could take coffee and a flask and fill the flask with water.

I wouldn't swim in Antartica - too cold! No need for beach towels either as there are no beaches! Room service provide all the tea/coffee you need - free.
