We had an annivery a month before we sailed on the QE2, we told the agents whom we booked with and sent a copy of our marriage certificate. We had a bottle of champagne in our cabin, a lovely vase of flowers. During dining one evening we had a lovely chocolate cake with candles and the waiters sang, it was lovely and we felt special. Have a great cruise.

You will be required to send them a copy of a document that proves the date of the anniversary,so it may be wise to phone Cunard and speak to someone about it.We have done it twice now and they gave us champagne and flowers ...very nice. have a great holiday.

Have sailed on the QE2 and there was quite a few aniversarys and birthdays. From what I saw and heard you don't ned to let them know as they have it on your booking form. It will probably be a bottle of something in your stateroom and a very embarassing song sung by about 8 waiters in the restaurant on the day.

You will need to send a copy of marriage cert - do check with Cunard though because I informed cruise.co.uk after the initial booking when I realised the cruise coincided and sent the copy cert, but the info didn't get through to Cunard!!

We have just returned from the QE2 and had an anniversary on board. When I booked I informed my agent and sent a copy of my marraige certificate. Wasn't sure what to expect, but when we reached our cabin there was a chilled bottle of champagne, three red roses in a vase, a signed certificate of congratulations from the captain and a voucher for a free formal portrait. This was not a special anniversary, but what a nice touch from Cunard.

They need to see a copy of your marriage certificate so I suggest you send this in with a letter before the voyage. When on board give a note with the details to the pursers office to pass to the people who run the QE 2 T.V. so you get a mention on the day. Also remind the restaurant manager so that you receive a special cake on the day.
