Find Your Cruise
Britannia class is $11 pp per day and Grill class is $13 pp per day. You can remove the gratuities from your account by going to the pursers desk and tip as you see fit. Personally I have never done this with the exception of one occasion where I had a particular complaint and it was not on a Cunard ship. It means that everyone who works so hard gets a share.
If, as I assume, you are talking about tips then 15% is added to bar/wine bills and this is added on without any redress to your on-board account. Now if you look in the Cunard brochure (having made a costly booking like this I am assuming that you have at least glanced at it) you will find a section about tips and the recommended amount they would like you to pay per person per day. This is paid to named individuals at the end of the cruise. You are free to change this by increasing or decreasing the amounts depending on your delight or dismay at the appropriate services you have received. It does sound though that you have opted to pay your tips with your booking in which case your options are far more limited. I am a firm believer in paying the full amount of tips unless I am very disappointed with someone which in 30 cruises has seldom happened but you will find that there are quite a number who do not and have all sorts of lame excuses why they are mean ! I hope this helps....Neil Dow.
A 15% charge is automatically added to your bar charges and dining room wine account. This is shared among the beverage staff and their support staff"

A $13.00per person per day automatic gratuity will be added to your on board account. Tips are not mandatory - you can sign a sheet at the Purser's Desk and all tips will be removed from your account on the last day.
