No need to take a iron you can get one on board some princess ships even have a ironing board in the cabin .

There will be irons in the passenger laundry rooms with ironing boards.

There are irons and ironing boards in all of the self serve laundry rooms on board.

You're not allowed to take irons on board because of the fire risk...but there are two or three in each laundry room.
