If you are going to cruise or go abroad often it is worth buying a pack of assorted adaptors which allow you to plug into most circuits. You must be sure of the voltage suitable for your appliance though. Having said that you specifically asked about Sea Princess which was Adonia and fitted out for the British market so you should be ok. I'm sure someone will qualify that or counter it if it is not accurate. ... Neil.

Yes my wife took a small travel hair drier in june and it worked perfectly well and it was a ordinary three pin plug,like you say the ones on board are not that great,have a nice cruise.

Hi Bradley, thanks for your response. can you tell me whereabout in the cabin the sockets are? I ask this because I was unable to find any on the Caribbean Princess.
