Ida & Neil Down - Answered a Question by JONES (17 Sep 07 14:21)

Yes this is true but you can opt for the credit card you use to be converted into sterling by them or if you are using a card like Nationwide then tell them that you want Royal Caribbean to charge your card in US dollars and let Nationwide do the conversion as you will find this is a better rate but you must tell them otherwise they will convert it at the rate they consider fair. ...Ida Dow.

When you fill up your online boarding information you are asked your credit card information, there is a box to tick off whether you wish to pay by US$ or sterling I would also recommend getting a Nationwide Credit Card and let them convert dollars to sterling as you get a better rate,I did this on our trip with RCI due in October Regards Iren.
