You're going on a floating 5-Star Hotel - and you're nervous?
First Cruise, huh? but not your last! - you should be nervous...about how you're going to afford all the cruises that come after that first one, about 2 or 3 every year, until the money runs out! Yes, you should be nervous...about future finances! (You're going to LOVE IT! they'll have to force you off, at the end! - enjoy!
Hi If you tell us what your very very nervous about we may be able to reassure you.
No need whatever to be nervous. You will be sailing on one of the 3 biggest cruise ships afloat. Even in moderate seas these monsters (we've sailed on Freedom and Liberty) hardly move to notice it. Don't be afraid of it. get stuck in and enjoy your cruise. We have - 19 times. If sea-sickness is the fear, take one Dramamine tablet one hour before sailing.
Nothing to be nervous about- it's a fabulous ship, and you will be completely relaxed after the first few hours settling in. All you have to worry about on a cruise is what to eat, what to wear, which bar to go to, and which activity you would like to do. It's as easy as that!
You will have a fantastic time, no doubt. I have tried several cruise ships and cruise lines and found this ship to be one of the very best for service and facilities. Enjoy it.
Thanks to everyone who has replied to my query. My woorry is about the whole experience of crusing, what to do, what to wear, the ship itself the shear size of it. Having read all the reviews and replies and having watched the reports BBC Hamshire, I think I am worrying myself for nothing. I shall write my review on my return. Thank you all again. Miss Davis.
Hi Everyone, I went on the Indy last May (Inaugural sailing) to Ireland Cork and it was amazing... you will all have a great time, food entertainment and gymnasium were wonderful... plus the staff were out of this world...
We boarded early around 12.00 and went to ther windjammer after a quick walk around, was my first cruise but not my last Oh no, I have rebooked a med cruise on Indy again with balcony this time for May 9th 09 so if your all excited how do you think I feel... I am 37 years old and cant sleep at night he he (like a child of 5yrs old on christmas day)... Any questions please ask your very welcome, was really pleased with Royal Caribbean just an amazing experience, the ship felt like a second home to me... mark x
Thanks for your reply Mark, but having travelled on this beautifulship to Cork last May, I would totally agree with your comments. My Daughter and I had a fantastic time. We are hoping to travel with Royal Caribbean again this year on Independence of the Seas or on Oasis of the Seas. It was our first cruise and we loved it. We cannot wait to repeat the experience.
