We were on a Baltic cruise on celebrity Constellation in May,we were in all the countrys you mention except Norway and they all took euros or american dollars I would advise NOT to use the ATM machines as they can be expensive and charge a lot of Interest go to martin lewis money man expert web site and he will advise you about which credit card to take abroad, either saga or nationwide, the baltic countries are brilliant very friendly people I hope you enjoy your cruis.
Norway is certainly not in the european community and the last time I was there they had Norwegian Kronas. I would recommend the ATMS as long as you have a card like the Nationwide BS one that has no charges.
We have done this very same cruise in June, non accept euro they all have their own currency. There is an ATM machine on navigator which dispenses dollars and you can change that or uk money at their reception desk into the relevant currencies at good rates. In Estonia a local bank comes on board to sell you their currency and will exchange it back at the end of the day at the same rate you buy it at. You will love this cruise, the places are great. Its the best cruise I have ever done so far.
Was on that cruise in June.Used euros in all of the countries. Ask before you purchase and know the approx exchange rate. Credit cards are an option also. Using an ATM can leave you with problems eg how much do I need, and a lot of loose change that you can not change back. Excellent ship. Enjoy. Frank.
We have just come back from this and all countries accept the euro you may get their own currency back as change but even russia we found to accept them aswell . So don't worry one currency works all over.
We did this on the Jewel in Jun a wonderful cruise. We only took Norwegian krona, and USD dollars for Russia. But really all the countries took the Euro except Russia dn if you do the trips, which i would recommend as it was too much and the docks are a afar way out of town, we spent very little cash. Also we did local trips on the red tour buses and they all took credit cards as payment.
Have a great time,.
