Yes it is very simple and saves a lot of hassle at the quayside.we did not agree to settling final bill with credit card as dollar is so weak at the moment we chaged sterling to dollars in uk and settled final bill in cash.worth a thought as all cabins have free safes.
Many times. Just go through it, you can Save Exit & Edit at any stage. Be advised you MUST print off when you have completed it & TAKE THE PRINT OFF WITH YOU (there's a bar code on it)to the check in desk with your passport & credit card. Many people think they don't need to take the print off with them & then find they have to go through the whole process again when checking in.
We found that printing the sea pass can only be done near the sailing date supposedly for security reasons, but it will tell you that when you ask for print ?
Actually, you can only print off the Sea Pass (the one sheet of paper with the bar code on) when the balance has been paid in full. Cannot print it before then - which gives you a good clue that your T/A hasnot passed on your cheque to RCI!
To the OP - no it is not really like airline checkins - you have to put in passport #, address, date of birth, next of kin etc. As Wilba says, make sure you 'save' at the bottom of each page. It will highlight in red anything that has not been completed properly. Do not print off each page as you go - that is not what is required - only when you have completed all stages will you see large green ticks under your names and the big 'print' button (if you have paid!)- and this is when you get the page with the barcode.
Computer says No......!
You need a new computer, I have the proof in my hand, every detail complete in all sections, Set Sail printed, one for each pax. Seriously though, I know this cruise is fully booked is now flagged as N/A (check it 8th May 2009)so maybe when there's no more cabins to shift around /upgrade they can take the block off the online booking. Over....
